Beside the banks of river Godavari at Bhadrachalam, Karakatta or a high rise road is seen and from where different scenic phenomena is evident. Flooding and feeble in both forms of river is an eye feasting in different seasons. Some people come here to have a morning walk and the green grass is used as a mat for visitors especially on busy festival days. Small shrines over there beside the steps lead to upper side are renovated when new constructions have taken place.
Western horizon looks serene and colorful in the morning and evening. Sitting in the sand and lost in the nature is something unforgettable. Many visitors gather in special days to take a dip. But one has to go ahead southern side to experience a unparalleled spectacle. Soothing devotional songs smoothly flow with the currents of air. Sometimes, saffron clad sanyasis are used to appear here in course of wandering mission. Usually nobody tries to talk to them.
